The main mission of the Ambassador Committee is to join with companies to engage their employees in HYP, thus giving them another reason to not leave the area (termed Brain Drain). A company pays for a certain number of HYP memberships for their employees. In return, the company not only engages their employees in the community, but HYP gives the company publicity for doing so on HYP's website, in HYP's weekly e-mail, and at a Second Wednesday social. Instead of the usual $25 membership fee, there is a discount - the more members the company pays for, the deeper the discount.
