City Beautification/Tree Planting Committee

The City Beautification / Tree Planting Committee is a long-term ad hoc committee whose mission is to plan, organize, and fund beautification projects in the City of Harrisburg. Since 1998, the committee has worked with PennDOT, PA Department of General Services, and the City of Harrisburg to plant trees and shrubs in the median of Forster Street between Second and Seventh Streets. Plans for the future include working with other organizations in various parts of the city to further our commitment to make Harrisburg a more aesthetically attractive city.
