HYP celebrates 10 years with new look
HARRISBURG, Pa. (Feb. 25, 2008) – What are Harrisburg’s best and brightest doing on Wednesday, Feb. 27? They are attending Harrisburg Young Professionals’ 10th Annual Meeting at the new HACC Midtown Campus at 1500 North 3rd Street in Harrisburg. HYP is celebrating 10 years of making the city of Harrisburg a better place to live, work and play.
Aside from a membership of over 600 people, the celebration will also be attended by long-time HYP supporter Mayor Stephen R. Reed and other dignitaries. The program will include the long anticipated unveiling of HYP’s new logo, which has been shrouded in secrecy for months. Combined with an enhanced member “Passport” program, this new infusion of direction and energy will make HYP even bigger and better in 2008.
Also at the Annual Meeting, HYP will be holding a book drive for the Harrisburg School District. Attendees are encouraged to bring any books to be donated.
Not yet a member? No problem. Non-members are welcome to join in the free celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 27 and discover what all of the buzz is about. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
