HARRISBURG YOUNG PROFESSIONALS (HYP) Announces Election of New Board Members

HYP announces the election of four (4) new board members: Vincent Champion, Esq., Ace Reddy, Bill Sutton, LEED® AP, and Meron Yemane.

"Our generation is fortunate that these four, remarkable young professionals are active in making Harrisburg a better place to live, work and play," said Jason Marks, HYP President. "They bring their experience, expertise, and passion to HYP's Board of Directors, and I am honored to serve our community alongside them."

Vincent L. Champion, Esq.
Vince Champion is an attorney with Rhoads and Sinon LLP, practicing throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He represents businesses, nonprofit agencies, school districts and local municipalities on a wide range of day to day legal issues. He also represents individuals, businesses and local governments throughout the litigation process.

An active community servant, Vince serves on the boards of directors for Leadership Harrisburg Area, CREDC, and Boiling Springs Midget Football Corporation. He is a member of the House of Delegates of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He has served for several years as the General Counsel to the Harrisburg Young Professionals. Vince is a member of the Dauphin County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar. He holds a J.D. from Widener University School of Law and LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University Beasley School of Law.

Ace K. Reddy
Ace Reddy is an accountant for CBHNP, a behavioral health managed care company.

Ace is an active tutor and volunteer in the Harrisburg area. He is a US Chess Federation Certified Tournament Director and Treasurer of the Olde Uptown Neighborhood Association. He serves on the board of the Harrisburg Public School Foundation. He holds a degree in Psychology from University of Maryland, College Park.

William J. Sutton II, LEED® AP
Bill Sutton is currently the sustainability chairperson and a project manager for Wohlsen Construction. He has worked on many projects in the City of Harrisburg including HACC's Midtown Campus and the award winning Campus Square Building.

Bill founded Future City Central Pennsylvania, a non-profit engineering competition for middle school students. The program teaches children to utilize math, science, creativity, teamwork and communication to find unique solutions for the challenges we face throughout our society. Since 2005, nearly 1000 students from 30 different middle schools have participated in the competition.

Bill is active within several professional organizations which include American Society of Civil Engineers, Green Center of Central PA (Board of Directors), Green Building Association of Central PA (Board of Directors), Harrisburg Regional Chamber, and the Association of Builders and Contractors (Keystone Chapter). He has a degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management from Catholic University in Washington DC.

Meron Yemane
Meron Yemane, a Financial Advisor for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, provides comprehensive planning for high net worth individuals and corporations.

An active volunteer and community servant, Meron's activities include serving as Chair of the Annual Greek Festival in Camp Hill for the past two years, and hosting the inaugural "Shady Shootout" in Reservoir Park. He holds a degree in Political Science and Economics from Pennsylvania State University, University Park.
