Matt Zieger and Erica Striesfeld join HYP's Board of Directors

Matt Zieger is the Director of Initiatives and Investor Relations for the Team Pennsylvania Foundation. The Foundation, co-chaired by Governor Rendell, is driven by its mission to improve Pennsylvania’s economic competitiveness. In his role with the Foundation, Mr. Zieger is responsible for the management and oversight of the grants and initiatives of the Team Pennsylvania Foundation. This allows Matt to be involved in such varied activities as international business attraction, Angel investment, and policy development important to economic development, education, energy, and municipal governance in PA.

Matt moved to Pennsylvania 10 years ago from New York, and has lived in Harrisburg with his wife Lisa since 2004. He serves on the board of the Central PA Conservancy and the steering committee for the 3rd Street Corridor Initiative. He is also active with Friends of Midtown, and the HYP Arts Committee. Along with supporting his community; his passions include outdoor activities, photography, and travel.

Erica Streisfeld is the Director of Communications for the Pennsylvania Newspaper Association. At PNA, Erica is responsible for a wide range of communications tasks, including publishing the association's print and online publications, graphic design, managing the company website, PR and event coverage. Erica received her Master’s Degree in Advertising from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and her undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Delaware Honors Program.

Erica serves on the HYP Membership and Marketing/PR Committees, along with working on the sub-committee that has been creating HYP’s new logo. In addition to HYP, Erica runs both the Italian and French Language Meetup Groups in Harrisburg, which meet to practice the languages and promote cultural activities. In her free time she enjoys rollerblading, hitting the gym, live music, winemaking, ethnic cuisine and international travel.
